The New Jersey COVID-19 public health emergency has been over since March 2022 (executive order 292), but discriminatory COVID testing of solely COVID-19 vaccine-free healthcare employees and corrections officers continues on a weekly basis, due to exclusions in Governor Phil Murphy's executive order 292 that is still in place.
Since President Biden declared on Sunday, September 18th that “the pandemic is over,” NJ needs to end the discrimination against corrections workers, first responders, and health care workers who have not received a COVID-19 vaccine or booster. The arbitrary testing, exclusively, of the vaccine-free New Jersey healthcare professionals and corrections officers is medically discriminatory and does not reflect the latest “science” available.
Ask your local district legislators, along with Senate President, Nicholas Scutari (District 22) and Assembly Speaker: Craig Coughlin (District 19) if they will stand with the health care professionals and the employees in “high-risk congregate settings” (corrections officers, nursing home employees, etc.) of New Jersey and support bill S1973/A2585 to end the COVID-19 vaccine mandate and the discriminatory COVID-19 testing of the vaccine-free:
